BCC Engineering Merges with Heath & Lineback

The team will coordinate and provide plan modifications to integrate the existing and proposed Transportation System Management & Operations (TSM&O) elements from the Sawgrass Expressway, Florida’s Turnpike, and I-95 including express lanes signing ITS, tolls, and ramp-metering.  The Team will also assist the FDOT in assessing the feasibility of the next phase of managed lanes implementation along with those facilities, up to and including the planning and programming of the next phase(s). Specifically, BCC will lead the design of the North/South Segment of I-95 Express Lanes including roadway structures and drainage design and project-wide Utility Coordination.

Services to be provided include (but are not limited to): public involvement, travel demand forecasting, traffic data collection and analysis, cost estimating, utility coordination, environmental/permit coordination, survey/aerial coordination, and geotechnical support.

FDOT District 4 SW 10th Street and I-95 Connector Design Consultant

BCC is part of the design team that is assisting the Florida Department of Transportation in facilitating a Design-Build project along SW 10th Street between the Sawgrass Expressway and I-95.  The project will include a frontage road system for local access and a limited-access managed-lane system that provides a connection between the tolled lanes of the Sawgrass Expressway and the I-95 Managed Lanes.
