The pump station is located on NW 14th Street west of the flyover ramp for State Road 836 eastbound to Interstate 95 southbound. The 10-inch force main extended westward on NW 14th Street to NW 7th Avenue where it turns southward and runs to NW 11th Street making a tapped connection to an existing force main. Pump Station No. 7 was designed to service a calculated Total Average Daily Flow of 436,500 gallons per day in route to the MDWASD Central District Wastewater Treatment Plant.

BCC provided utility coordination and verified that the proposed force main was not in conflict with the existing underground transmission and distribution lines in the project area.

Limited construction management and project coordination services were provided.

Pump Station No. 7

This project involved upgrades to Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department’s existing Pump Station No. 7 and 10-inch Force Main for an area served by an aged and undersized wastewater system. BCC was selected to design and permit a new pump station design with 1,945 linear feet of 10-inch Ductile Iron Pipe Force Main.
