BCC Engineering was responsible for the design, permitting, bidding and limited construction administration services to upgrade sewage PS 1002 including rehabilitation of the existing wet well, two new 34 HP submersible pumps, new valve vault, new electric control panel and electrical equipment, new generator and fuel tank, discharge piping and fittings, fencing and site improvements.
The Miami-Dade Water and Sewer Department is rehabilitating and upgrading pump stations throughout their wastewater collection system to comply with the requirements of the Third Consent Decree. As part of the upgrades, it has tasked BCC with the design to refurbish pump station structures as well as pumps, controls and associated equipment that have reached the end of their useful life.
