BCC Engineering is the prime Design Project Manager. BCC’s TEO group provided design and construction support service for S&PM and ITS.

Signing and pavement markings design was developed for 9 miles along I-95 and 2 miles along I-595 encompassing express lanes ingress and egress connections and 9 interchanges connections. Signing and markings at cross streets was also provided.  Coordination with Fort-Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport was conducted to avoid any encroachment issue into the airport glide path.

The ITS Scope included multi agency ITS systems, including express lane DMS signs, general use DMS, Arterial DMSs, CCTV incident monitoring, MVDS detection systems, generator backed power system, fiber backbone, wrong way detection, and ramp metering.

I-95 Express Lanes - Phase 3C - TEO
