BCC Engineering Merges with Heath & Lineback

BCC was hired to perform the investment grade revenue study and travel demand estimation for I-75 and SR 826 between I-595, SR 836 and Florida’s Turnpike. The analysis consisted of developing revenue traffic that evaluated the feasibility of a managed lane system on the corridors. The traffic component evaluated three roadway alternative options and three demand impacts to the I-75 and SR 826 corridors. The study required the preparation of a Toll Choice Model, Bluetooth O-D Survey, State/Reveal Preference Survey, DRI Review, and Express Lane Time-of-Day Model.

BCC was responsible for coordinating and overseeing sub-area modeling, investment-grade traffic estimation, and Toll Choice modeling implementation for a 34-mile managed lane section on I-75 and SR 826, managed lane alternative analysis including analysis and evaluation of Bluetooth Origination-Destination (OD) data, and the stated/revealed preference survey during the investment-grade study.

BCC was responsible for travel demand modeling for a 45-mile managed lane section of I-95 between Ives Dairy Road and Lantana Road, data management, coordinating socio-economic data update process, project model validation, calibration, and alternative analyses efforts.
