Area 1: BCC is providing civil engineering services for the replacement of the existing water services and upsize to the existing 2-inch to 4-inch diameter water mains located within the Bonaventure Community. Existing water mains that measure less than four inches will be replaced with a 6-inch City-approved Ductile Iron Pipe or approved PVC water main. The proposed civil engineering services for this area include: field investigations, topographic surveying, subsurface utility engineering (SUE) services, geotechnical investigations, engineering design plans, permitting, and bidding assistance. The project area boundary falls south of Saddle Club Road, west of Royal Poinciana Court, east of SW 169th Terrace, and North of SW 5th Way. This area services approximately 530 residential homes.

Area 2: In addition to the water main improvements within the above Area 1, the City has requested field investigations be conducted for the existing 4-inch water main located outside of the above-mentioned project limits within a cul-de-­sac west of Saddle Club Road between Lake Tree Drive and Chestnut Lane. The project area consists of approximately five (5) residential homes suspected to have their water service connected to the existing 4-inch water main at this location. The field investigation includes subsurface utility engineering services (SUE) in efforts to identify and confirm the existing water main pipe material, horizontal/vertical location and size.
